i write plays for friends and strangers.
here's what's been going on with some of them:

PREFER VIEWS TO NEWS?
here's an interview i enjoyed doing
NORTHSIDE HOLLOW, the surreal, subterranean drama I wrote with JONATHAN FIELDING,
is being read as part of THEATER VOICES's 37th (!!) season. If you're near the Capital Region APRIL 4-6,
drop by and dig in. Admission is (beautifully) FREE.
The film we made of my play DINDIN has been released by the fine folks at GOOD DEED ENTERTAINMENT
You can find out more about this little-movie-that-could here
or just dig right in on Amazon or Apple TV+. Tart, tasty, pairs well with a big bucket of popcorn.
(By happy coincidence, the storied YALE CABARET presented the stage version
of this tasty treat this fall, too. A feast to remember.)
To gear up for the election, Portland, OR's gutsy, inventive SHAKING THE TREE THEATRE
hosted an UBU AMERICA reading series; my screwball nightmare UBU ROAR closed out the festival.
If you missed it, just open any American newspaper, turn on any American radio station, look out any American window:
an encore performance will be playing out in real-time for (at least) the next four years.
My dog-eat-dog comedy WESTMINSTER had its world premiere at the very wonderful,
always adventurous URBANITE THEATRE in Sarasota, FL.
The tail wagged again this summer at the HARBOR STAGE COMPANY.
New plays in beautiful places: man's best friend.
So happy that CYRANO, the 5-person adaptation JASON O'CONNELL and I did of Rostand's romantic classic,
returned to New England for a run at Maine's historic STONINGTON OPERA HOUSE last August.
It was a small-cast, big-nose delight.
My little-play-that-could, OFF PEAK, made a stop out west last spring at Ashland, OR's
ROGUE THEATER COMPANY. If you missed the left coast premiere,
you can give the script a read
 at TRW Plays. All aboard.
GLOUCESTER STAGE's intrepid new AD REBECCA BRADSHAW presented her electric take on
THE DING DONGS last summer; she and the knockout cast reunited after last winter's run at the
KITCHEN THEATRE COMPANY. A little more about the journey of this surreal confection here,
or you can go straight to the source at TRW Plays.
Excited to have the innovative, delightful folks at UPROAR THEATRICALS licensing
THE DEER AND THE ANTELOPE, my offbeat look at law and disorder.
Check out Uproar's growing catalogue here; they're an incredible company sharing new plays in new ways.
